Non-Personal Information
The Street Trust is very respectful of the privacy concerns of the visitors to our site. As a general policy, no personal information is automatically collected from visitors to the Street Trust site. However, certain non-personal information of visitors is recorded via standard website analytics tools. This information is primarily used to provide an enhanced online experience for our visitors. Information tracked includes the type of browser being used by the visitor (e.g., Firefox, Internet Explorer), the type of operating system (e.g., Macintosh, Windows) in use by the visitor and the domain name of the visitor’s Internet service provider (e.g., Comcast, Quest). By having this information, Web pages optimized for a particular visitor’s computer are automatically available to that visitor. Other uses of this information include internal review of the number of visitors to the site but only in an aggregate and non-personally identifiable form.
Personal Information and Mobile Messaging Terms and Conditions
E-mail addresses and other personally identifiable data about visitors to this site are known to The Street Trust, only when voluntarily submitted. Personally identifiable information that may be collected in connection with visitors voluntarily filling out contact forms or the email newsletter is retained by The Street Trust, and never sold or rented to others. This information is used to better understand visitors’ use of our site. The Street Trust sometimes also uses e-mail addresses and other personally identifiable information to contact visitors who communicate with us. For example, we direct e-mail to visitors who provide us with their e-mail addresses for specific purposes such as a question or request for new updates. The Street Trust may share e-mail addresses or mailing addresses with selected partners that provide services that we believe may be of interest to our visitors. You may opt-out of all mailings and list exchanges by emailing us your request at [email protected].
Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third party. The Street Trust will occasionally send you text messages, 2 per month on average, to help raise resources, share news about transportation policy, and advocate for bicyclists, pedestrians, and all road users. For questions or requests, please email [email protected]. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Text STOP to opt-out of text messages.
