The Street Trust Annual Adaptive Bike Ride

Eastbank Esplanade, Portland 2022

As street users, we know how to find our way and survive the flawed system we have. We know that if we don’t adapt, flex, and sprint we’ll get hurt, left behind, or miss out on opportunities. Street smart is the vigilance of a truck driver watching for cyclists on the road, a pedestrian navigating an unlit and incomplete sidewalk, the optimism of a transit rider late for work, and the grit of a community advocate going back to their elected officials year after year to demand transportation funding.

Street smart is knowing how to move today and organizing so we can Move Oregon Forward tomorrow.
