For 70 years, Portlanders have embraced the cold and quiet of New Year’s Day to come out for a unique community ride.
Our 2026 seven-mile route highlighted new bike-friendly infrastructure, including the Mark Rothko Pavilion at the Portland Art Museum, where we will stop for a group photo–artistic (and warm) costumes were encouraged!–and the entirety of the Southwest 4th Avenue Improvement Project.
While carrying forward this cherished Portland tradition, we be discussed and thought about the future of transportation and the types of projects that The Street Trust will be fighting to fund.
