About OATS

The Oregon Active Transportation Summit is planned and delivered by The Street Trust and its partners. OATS is a driver for change and a premier venue to discuss best practices for transportation policy, funding, planning, design and delivery. Attendees include: state legislators; policy makers; directors of local transportation departments and community based organizations; engineers and planners; business owners; health professionals; and community advocates. The virtual Summit spans two weeks and consists of workshops, panels, round table discussions, mobile workshops, professional training, and a keynote address.

The theme is - Transportation and Mobility Justice

We will explore:

  • How can our transportation investments, programs and plans impact the crisis of climate change?
  • How can we center transportation access, options and outcomes for low income people and people of color, who are impacted by climate change and least served by our transportation system today?
  • How do we move from knowledge of these challenges to action?
