Bike More Challenge

The Bike More Challenge is a state-wide, month-long friendly competition between workplaces to see who can get the greatest percentage of employees to log the most trips on their bike. At the end we tally the results, give out awards in different categories of company size and sector, and celebrate everyone’s hard work and commitment for that month. Read more

Women Bike

Women Bike is The Street Trust’s program to inspire more women to incorporate a bike in their lives and utilize biking to meet their personal health, fitness, and transportation needs. In the Portland Metro region women account for only a third of bike riders. We’re here to change that. Women Bike is open to all women, female identifying, and gender nonconforming people who enjoy biking (or think they might). We aim to decrease the barriers to riding a bike through monthly rides, workshops, mentorship, happy hours, coffee meetups, and the camaraderie of cycling. Read more

Commute Clinics

As part of our Commute Clinics, The Street Trust visits workplaces and community groups to teach a one-hour clinic covering laws, skills, basic gear, and basic maintenance. This is a great introductory class for people who are new to bicycling or interested in learning more about how to enjoy safe and comfortable bike commuting in all seasons. Experienced commuters are encouraged to come and share their tips with fellow riders and hopefully walk away with new knowledge as well. Click here to request a Commute Clinic

Rules of the Road Clinics

Our Rules of the Road clinics are free presentations where you can learn everything you need to know about local traffic laws and your rights as a pedestrian, bicyclist, or transit user. These clinics are hosted by personal injury lawyer Chris Thomas who shares his insights on Oregon laws, how to stay safe on the road, and what to do when you’re in a crash.
