Women Bike: April 2018 Recap

Spring is here and we are loving it! April was filled with some really sunny and dry days, and Women Bike took the opportunity to host rides for women and gender nonconforming people to train over longer distances. Thanks to everyone who joined us this month!

Rides

This month, we rode thirteen miles to Kelly Point Park in a ride hosted by our very own Roll Model Cat Caperello. We got to enjoy a nice scenic route of North Portland.

Our second ride of the month was a ride to Terwilliger in SW, led by The Street Trust’s Tia Sherry. It was a challenging route, and we had some mechanical issues along the way, but the fun very much made up for it!

Social Meet-ups

This month we hosted our Happy Hour at Hopworks in North Portland. We had five women join us for some brews and food, and were thrilled to hear their excitement to ride more this spring and summer. If you missed this Happy Hour, no worries: you can join us at upcoming one next month!
