The Bike Raffle is Back!

The Street Trust is partnering with our friends at River City Bicycles to bring back the Bike Raffle! The Bike Raffle is the chance to win an amazing set of wheels for a low ticket price, and feel good about supporting safe streets and healthy communities while you do it. All proceeds from the raffle benefit The Street Trust.

Here’s How it Works:
1,000 tickets will be sold for $20 each. Once we sell out, that’s it! The winning ticket will be drawn on Wednesday, July 5th at the finale of the Mt. Tabor Race Series at Mt. Tabor Park in Portland, OR.

The Grand Prize:
A SPECIALIZED Bicycles Turbo Vado E-bike, a pair of North Street Route Six panniers, and a Bell Helmets Shield MIPS helmet (Package value $3,750).

SPECIALIZED Bicycles has had e-bikes in their model line up for many years, but the Turbo Vado is the first electric pedal-assist designed specifically for city riding. The Turbo Vado features a lightweight aluminum frame, in diamond or step-through frame styles, and a 50mm travel suspension fork.

Specs:
SPECIALIZED partnered with German company, Brose, to develop a mid-drive motor and battery that fit seamlessly into what looks like a standard bicycle. According to the project manager at SPECIALIZED, “We start off with the bike first because we want it to ride, handle and feel like a bike.” Integrated lights, rear rack, and fenders were developed for the urban commuter in mind and the tagline says it all, “Busy lives call for faster bikes.”

  • Bluetooth compatibility allows the rider to toggle between battery modes to increase range in real time via the Mission Control App.
  • A 2.2 inch LCD screen enables the rider to monitor bike and ride data in real time right on the handlebars.
  • There are three battery modes (Eco, Sport, and Max) to select, and with the app, you can even plot your course and the battery will adjust while you’re riding to make sure that you get through your ride on one charge.
  • This is a pedal-assist bicycle as are all e-bikes at River City Bicycles, meaning to make the bike move the rider must pedal. The motor only offers support in response to pedaling and shuts off assist at 20mph. Anything above 20mph is up to the rider! The Turbo Vado can, of course, be ridden with the motor off and a wide-range 10-speed cassette offers plenty of gear range whether powered by the motor or not.
  • The SPECIALIZED Turbo Vado is a stylish commuter and we’re outfitting it with two North Street Route Six panniers and a Bell Helmets Annex Shield MIPS helmet.
  • This bike is available in four diamond frame styles and four step-through frame styles. River City Bicycles staff will work with the raffle winner to determine the correct size.

The Fine Print:
Must be an Oregon resident or in Oregon to purchase tickets. Must be 18 or order to participate. 1,000 tickets will be sold for $20 each. Winner does not need to be present at the Drawing Party to win. Winner will select the desired frame and size. Winner responsible for applicable tax liability based on the value of the package ($3750). The Street Trust staff, board, and their household members are not eligible. Sorry, no refunds. All proceeds from the Bike Raffle benefit The Street Trust.
