Hey, Hey, Hey….The Bike More Challenge starts today!

The Bike More Challenge creates more than 1,300 new riders each year, with participants biking more than 1 million miles, replacing more than 100 thousand miles of auto trips each year. This means fewer cars on the road, fewer CO2 emissions, and a great time to be out there biking with the thousands of other Challenge participants! We’d love for you to participate and help make Oregon a better place to bike.

Are you ready? Here are 5 easy steps to Bike More Challenge Victory:

  1. Register
If you participated last year, you do not need to register again. Simply login and verify that you’d like to participate in the 2017 Challenge. If you did not participate last year, you will need to register. If you don’t see your team’s name, please follow these easy step-by-step instructions to create your team. Need help? Check out the handy Website FAQ’s hereDon’t have a traditional workplace? Don’t worry! We’ve set up some great teams that you can join. 2. Log your rides (with an app)
This year, we are partnering with Ride Report, a free way to log all your Bike More Challenge trips automatically. There’s no need to enter your trip or tap a record button – Ride Report automatically senses your ride so you can focus on racking up your miles and winning prizes! It takes less than a minute to install Ride Report and you can register for the Challenge right inside the app. After that, just hop on your bike! Download the free app or go to the Ride Report website for more information.
  3. Hang out with other Challengers
Join us for a commute clinic, party, or a good old fashioned bike ride. Check out the Bike More Challenge calendar for an event in your area.
  4. Earn Points, Win Prizes and Get Discounts
Pedal anywhere, anytime during May, log your trips, and get points! (You get bonus points for encouraging others to ride.) We have a slew of prizes for people who log their trips, including a Bike Friday pakiT folding bike and two passes to Cycle Oregon’s WEEKENDER ride (July 7-9), so be sure to log them every day! Logging trips also means you’ll unlock freebies and discounts from Chipotle, Chinook Book, Showers Pass and Portland Design Works.
  5. Get ready to PARTY!
At the end of the Challenge, we’ll throw an Awards Party to celebrate Bike More Challengers and their biking achievements. Stay tuned for more info, but for
