What are you doing, Friday, February 10th? We’d love to see you (and a date!) at the seventh annual Live the Revolution, presented by Sugar Wheel Works and Gladys Bikes. Live the Revolution is a bicycle-themed storytelling event that benefits our Safe Routes to School education program.
Live the Revolution is a collection of stories told live by your favorite Portland personalities. This year’s storytellers are (drumroll, please):
- Ric Hjertberg, Wheel Fanatyk
- Erin Lolich, Northwest Regional Education Service District
- Lale Santelices, Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT)’s Safe Routes to School program
- Erik Tonkin, Sellwood Cycle Repair
Additionally, Leah Benson of Gladys Bikes had so much fun as a storyteller last year, that she’s agreed to join as our Emcee this year. We’re so excited to see all the fun she’ll bring!
When: Friday, February 10th. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., show starts at 7:30 p.m.
(We suggest you get there early to get in on Hopworks beer, poems by local writers, live music, a raffle and more!)
Where: Alberta Abbey, 126 NE Alberta Street in Portland
Bike Parking: We’re working to secure a company to provide on-site bike valet, but not to worry, there’s plenty of bike parking nearby!
