What: 2015 Oregon Safe Routes to School Network Annual Meeting
When: Tuesday, March 31st, 1 p.m.-3 p.m.
Where: The Sentinel Hotel in Portland, Oregon (call in option available)
Please RSVP by March 10th so we know how many people to expect and so we can send any updates about the specific room we will be in and the call-in information.
Things you can look forward to at the Annual Meeting:
- Hear what we are working on right now and what we will accomplish in 2015.
- Help accomplish goals by participating in small group activities and adding your expertise!
- Hear about our Network’s exciting name change from the Walk+Bike Network to the Oregon Safe Routes to School Network.
- Meet fellow Safe Routes to School practitioners and advocates from across the state!
Interested in other great opportunities to learn about Safe Routes to School? Consider attending the Oregon Active Transportation Summit on March 30th-31st held at the same location as our Annual Meeting. Our own Shane MacRhodes and Janis McDonald will be leading a workshop about bike parking at schools, and Brian Potwin will be leading a workshop about Safe Routes to School in rural areas. These are just a couple of the great presentations you might enjoy.
