Portland: I’ve lived in Portland since ’87. As an airforce brat, I lived in many places growing up. I travel for work extensively to many US and international cities. I can’t imagine living anywhere else but Portland.

Biking: I was an avid rider through junior high and high school. My Junior year in High School I did a solo 2 day tour, 200 mile tour in Nebraska and Iowa. I started biking seriously again around 2001. I live on the west side of Portland but bike from Vernonia to Larch Mt to Champoeg St. Park and everything in between. I have extensive experience of route planning and biking in most parts of Portland.

Professional Experience: I have 20 years experience in networking and technology industries. I’ve worked at Intel for 13 years. I’m currently Director or Wireless LAN Standards (Wi-Fi) where I do a considerable amount of committee work leading and participating in public, group discussions to build a consensus position. One such role is sitting on the Board of Directors for Wi-Fi Alliance (www.wi-fi-org).

I could send my resume; however, my resume does not mention anything about biking or Portland, so perhaps a phone call would be best. Send me a note if you’d like to talk or would like my resume.

    Thanks for your time.
